# Question Bank

> Shared library of exam questions with AI generation

## What is the Question Bank?

The Question Bank is a centralised library of exam questions organised by subject and chapter. Questions are shared across your entire organisation — all admins see the same bank.

## Question Types

| Type           | Description                                         |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **MCQ**        | Multiple choice with one correct answer and options |
| **Subjective** | Open-ended question with a model answer             |

## Adding Questions Manually

Go to **Question Bank → Add Question** and fill in:

* Subject
* Chapter / Topic
* Question type (MCQ or Subjective)
* Question text
* Options and correct answer (MCQ) or model answer (Subjective)
* Difficulty (Easy / Medium / Hard)
* Marks

## AI Question Generation

Click **Generate with AI** to automatically create questions:

1. Select subject, chapter, difficulty, and type
2. For subjective questions, configure section-wise mark distribution
3. Click **Generate** — the AI creates a set of questions for review
4. Review and **Save to Bank** the questions you want to keep

  AI-generated questions are previewed before being saved. Always review them for accuracy before adding to the bank.

## Browsing and Filtering

Filter questions by:

* Subject
* Chapter
* Type (MCQ / Subjective)
* Difficulty

## Analytics

The **Analytics** tab shows question counts by subject and chapter, and lets you identify gaps in coverage.

## Question Bank is Org-Wide

The question bank is shared across all branches and admins in your organisation. Questions added by any admin or teacher are available to all.

## Bulk Operations

Select multiple questions using the checkboxes and bulk-delete them in one action.
